ABOUT

Affinity Media & Public Relations works with nonprofit organizations, professional sporting events, educational institutions, and the entertainment industry to build brand recognition, clearly define missions and objectives, while helping stakeholders and the community at large connect the dots between your organization and the impact you make. We believe you only achieve their highest potential if others understand the significance of your work and why it matters.

We serve as a partner to your organization and help you consider your brand and reputation both strategically and thoughtfully and what you want to be known for. We’ll work with you and your team to enhance who you are in the public eye and the good work you deliver through focused and intentional public relations campaigns, meaningful communications (both internal and external), and earned media.

PR plays a crucial role in helping to differentiate one charitable cause from another in the minds of philanthropic decision-makers at major corporations as well as with individuals, and helps to profile its work, focusing on its key deliverables to communicate to donors their unique positioning. PR is also helpful in defining who the charity’s target audience is and the media outlets that they read. Positive media coverage is a vital tool in helping charities raise public awareness of an issue, highlight successes, campaign for change or build trust and confidence in their own operations and those of the sector more widely.

Public and media relations isn’t about spinning a story and creating a false positive with regard to how you’re perceived, but rather about bringing the deserved attention to the awesomeness you’ve already achieved.
